Do you have a puzzle that is missing a few pieces? Don't throw it away. Take all the pieces out and let your children/siblings/friend's kids create something with the pieces. Also, if you work at a day care, after school program, you also can do this.
All you need is:
-Puzzle Pieces
-Glue Gun
Depending on the age of the child, you may need to glue the pieces for him/her. Let them create whatever they want. I made Christmas tree, out of puzzle pieces with Christmas colors. It worked out great because at every side you looked, there were pieces hanging off to give the tree appearance. It stood up on its own, of course with a little help from the glue gun. You can also twist the pieces or rip them to your liking. Since it is just a bunch of pieces of paper put together, you can also thin out the piece if necessary for your design.
Also, if a child makes a flat masterpiece, you can add the pin attachment to make a pin. These pins make great gifts for parents, or grandparents. Best of all each pin only costs about a few cents.
