Some people spend on money rubber stamps and ink to print the name and address on the envelope. Others make labels from their print or even just print on the envelope. These are again little expenses that could be saved. There are many companies who are willing to give you free mailing labels. You can donate money if you would like, but it isn't required. Even if you are one that doesn't spend the money but writes out your name and address on each envelope, getting free labels can save you the time you spend writing out your information. Below are some sites where you can get free labels.

http://www.pva.org/site/Survey?SURVEY_ID=1701&ACTION_REQUIRED=URI_ACTION_USER_REQUESTS
Just from these three sites alone, you will have more then enough labels to last you a year, assuming you send out at least a letter a day.
