I have been thinking about this lately. Trying to save money means buying less. It also means cutting down on other expenses. I realized that you can be frugal while living green. A person might switch out their light bulbs from regular bulbs to energy saving bulbs. You are saving your pocket money, but at the same time you are helping the environment. Reusing items that you normally would throw away, example clothing also is green. Instead of spending money on paper towels you might cut up old clothing and use them as cloth. You are throwing away less items (paper towels, clothes ,etc) and you are saving money in the process. Also, the penguin buddy's posted earlier is another way to reuse items instead of just throw them away. There are many more examples of this and I will try to add more on this topic in the future.
Bascially being frugal does equal a better planet.
